Nagpur: After a long range of 19 years, a beautiful Satpuda botanical garden, the bio-diversity park intended for research and education, all arranged for rebuilt.
The Union and MP Minister Nitin Gadkari said the park would be transformed into a rose garden and would have all the roses available in this country.
Speaking in a program a day ago, said Gadkari, “the stairs that connect the botanical garden to the Futala Lake will also be rebuilt.
A boat shaped restaurant will be developed on the lake, but it won’t be floating.
Jetty will be arranged so people can reach the restaurant From the park.
All of this is part of the project to change the Futala Lake and the adjacent area into a tourist destination.
“The state government has allocated 15 hectares of land located on a hill on the edge of Lake Futala to PDKV for the purpose of research and education.
The government has gave a sanction RS6 Crore for the development of bio-diversity parks for research and education in 1995.
The park was opened to the public, students and researchers on January 1, 2003.
Since then, the park is not returned.
In 2016, PDKV had planned to change the garden to become a commercial park but had to drop the package along with the Toi and opposition reports from the people.
Gadkari said, “Revolving Restaurant will be developed on the 10th floor of the parking center developed on the lake.
The ninth floor will be developed as the floor of the food.
The remaining eight floors will be for automatic parking,” he said.
The Mayor of Dayashankar Tiwari also proposed a revolving restaurant at the Sokta Bhavan Mall project from Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC).
Gadkari added that the double-decker electric bus will be taken to the city and will be used for tourism and tourism tours by senior citizens and persons with disabilities.
Gadkari suggested Tiwari must install a statue to display various yoga asanas in several places in the city to attract the younger generation towards Yoga.
