St John’s (Antigua): India under 19 Skipper Yash Dhull said the team would focus on building partnerships if the party lost quickly in the match against Australia in the Under-19 World Cup semifinals on Wednesday.
In the match against Bangladesh, India bent first and rejected the tiger for 111 on the land of Cricket Coolidge in Antigua and Barbuda before their battery expelled a simple target to lose five numbers.

However, during the pursuit, India lost the goal quickly before overcoming the line in the quarter-finals.
“The Australian Bowling attack is normal and we focus on building partnerships as soon as we lose the goal fast.
Our focus then shifts towards building partnerships so we can print more in death,” Yash Dhull said while replying to Ani’s request at a press conference.
When Ani asked how important VVS Laxman’s role for boys was under 19, said Yash Dhull, “Laxman Sir shares his experience with us which is very important for the coming match and he has a very important role in our camp.” Last month, at Gameday against Ireland, BCCI had notified that four Indian players were tested positive for Covid-19, including Captain Yash Dhull and Deputy Captain SK Rasheed.
But captain Dhull said the phase was not difficult for a team like a former Laxman dough used to call the players to find out his existence.
“It’s not difficult because the VVS Laxman pack usually calls us to guide us.
So it’s not difficult and we focus on the Bangladesh match.
We will play with positive thoughts and set targets according to the goal tomorrow,” Dhull said.
