Hyderabad: A fire broke out at Sri Sri Holistic Hospital in Nizampet on Monday night.
Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Police, disaster response troops (DRF) and firefight personnel worked together for more than two hours and shifted all patients from the hospital.
The fire began at around 11pm from two basements from the G + 4 hospital building after warning the Department of Fire and police, hospital staff began to evacuate patients.
Six fire tenders rushed to the place along with three smoke extractors and fire out at 2:30 a.m.
Madhapur DCP K Shilpavalli, who was on Monday night, said that there were 38 patients and all shifted to two hospitals nearby without dangerous.
“The Prima Facie electric short circuit seems to be a possible reason.
The fire seems to have started in the basement near the inverter room and thick smoke swallowing the floor,” DCP said.
Kukatpally District Fire Officer Sudhakar Rao’s, who put out the fire, in his probe also found that the fire seemed to have started from the battery room in the first hospital basement.
