Coimbatore: Schools in the District are ready to reopen for class I-XII on Tuesday according to government order after standard operating procedures (SOP).
The state government has issued orders to close schools in the middle of the third wave of Covid-19 infection.
With infection slowly fading, the state government has allowed in-class classes to all standards, except kindergarten.
Health workers from Civic’s body cleaned all corporate school classrooms in the city.
An official from the Ministry of Education from City Corporation said that they had cleared most of the school in the past few days.
The remaining schools were cleaned on Monday.
The official health said that 74% of school students in the 15-18 age category were vaccinated in the district.
In the city, only 14% of students have not been vaccinated.
City Health Officers, Dr.
Satish Kumar said, “We have covered 55,000 students from a total of 64,000 students in the city.
The rest cannot be borne due to school closure.
With schools will be reopened, we will try to cover all those who have been abandoned.
Some Students say that they plan to vaccinate in private hospitals.
They will be asked to produce a certificate, “he said.
Students who have their first dose on January 3 will be eligible for the second dose.
The second dose will be given to them at school, he said.
Gollegs has been ordered to ensure that students follow social distance when they are on campus, especially in places such as the dining room.
He said that random samples will be prevented from students to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infection.
