Kanpur: Notification has been issued for BJP candidates and former IPS officers asim Kumar Arun fighting from the constituency of the Kannauj conscious assembly due to violations of the model behavior model.
Notifications have been served by sub-district election officers after 15-16 children found campaigning for BJP candidates.
The former IPS officer has been asked to submit a reply within 72 hours.
Election Officer Gajendra Kumar said a week ago, the National Commission for Protection of Children’s Rights has issued instructions to take action if a candidate involves children in the campaign coming in the abites of child abuse.
This guideline was given to the parties and candidates, also published in the newspaper.
“Photos and videos of children aged January 30, where the notification has been issued for candidates to violate the Indian Election Commission’s instructions and code of ethics.
The action will be taken if clarification is not given within 72 hours.” The official said.
