Noida: Two more died after testing positive in the city on Tuesday, taking the total death to 484.
Noida, so far, has seen 11 deaths related to Covid since January 26.
On Tuesday, also reported 287 new cases Ghaziabad saw 226 people test positive.
Of the two people who died in Noida, a 32-year-old woman suffering from ovarian cancer.
The second patient is a 67-year-old woman who has a pneumonia.
Both were received in private hospitals in the city and were tested positively while undergoing treatment there.
In the past seven days, Noida has seen nearly 60% of the decline in the number of people testing positive.
On January 26, the city reported 727 cases, which fell to 287 on Tuesday.
Likewise, cases in Ghaziabad also declined from 504 to 226 since January 26.
Officials said most patients died after positive testing had several comorbidity or others.
In Ghaziabad, five people were released from the hospital in the last 24 hours, lowering the number of active cases to 1,830.
More than 1,500 people in the district are in house isolation.
The sampling level of the sample in Ghaziabad also fell to 3.1% from 3.9% on Monday.
The district also conducted more than 7,300 tests since Monday.
In terms of vaccination, Ghaziabad gave 25,040 vaccine doses in all age groups while 39,449 preventive shots had been given there so far.
In Noida, 8,562 people in each category are affixed.
