Agra: The day after announcing his candidate in Karhal, where the Head of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav fought against his first assembly selection, Congress had decided to withdraw from the contest.
Congress also said it would not make a candidate against uncle and senior party leader Akhilesh Shivpal Yadav in Jaswannagar (Etawah District).
Both seats chose to the third phase of voting in the state on February 20.
Shivpal will contest from his party, the Progatatheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), now in the Alliance with SP.
He has roamed with Akhilesh’s nephew and formed a new front right in front of the assembly poll in 2017.
In December last year, the two parties announced the alliance for this assembly poll.
Gyanwati Yadav Congress Candidate is a former Vice President of the Mahila Morcha Party and is fighting the assembly selection for the first time.

SP did not shake candidates for Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in Amethi and Rae Bareli in the last selection of Sabha Lok.
