Chennai: The Greater Chennai Corporation has identified 1,200 sensitive connection booths in 200 wards.
Corporate Commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi told Ti that the Civic body would make a vote in the sensitive booth and rope in the Staff of the State Bank on the Voting Day (February 19) for micro monitoring.
The Civic body will hold a meeting with the Shankar Jiwal Police Commissioner.
“We will ask for an extra police for this sensitive booth to ensure no unwanted incidents,” said Commissioner.
