Vadodara: The implementation of a guarantee of a 22-year-old man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl was rejected by the additional session court, Savli on Thursday.
The additional session of Judge Amit Kumar Rekani observed that the defendant was identified as Mohammed Tohid Samim, had benefited from Tween mice to lure him.
TheHid, a citizen of Mumbai, was arrested in December last year after Uncle Survivor filed a complaint of rape on it on December 4, 2021.
He was accused of raping the girl in Kuisbaugh in the city on December 3, 2021.
According to him, the girl did not go to school on the day And instead met theherhid in Savli.
The duo then went to Sausajibaug where the defendant took him to the bushes and raped him.
He then dropped him at Savli in the automatic rickshaw and left.
The girl told her family about the incident that followed the complaint which was asked for theherhid.
The girl also revealed that Tohid called her on her cellphone more than a year ago.
He tells him that he gets the number from his schoolmate and that he wants to be friends with him.
They met in September 2021 in Savli-Jawla Road and then again in December.
Tohid’s lawyer argues that he has lodged in prison for a long time and that complaints of him are lacking evidence.
Claiming that the arrest of illegal defendant, Advocate also said that Thohid had moving and immovable properties and could not escape.
The public prosecutor believes that the defendant can jump guarantees and disrupt investigations.
He also said it was just a direct act of rape that would not give the right to the applicant for the help he was looking for.
