Kochi: The country reported 42,677 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, and the test level of test was 37.23% after 1,14,610 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
The state also recorded 50,821 recovery on that day.
The maximum case was reported from Ernakulam (7,055), followed by Thiruvananthapuram (5,264), Kottayam (4,303), Kollam (3,633), Pathanamthitta (3,385), Thrissur (3,186), Alappuzha (3,891), Malappuram (2,380), Malappuram (2,380) ), Palackad (1,972), Idukki (1,710), Kannur (1,670), Wayanad (1,504) and Kasaragod (714).
There are 5,08,146 people currently observing in the state.
From here, 4,97,025 people were under house or institutional quarantine and 11,121 people at the hospital.
On Thursday, 1,144 people were hospitalized.
Of the 3,69,073 cases of active Covid in the state, only 3% of patients were hospitalized.
Covid was confirmed has caused the death of 601 people, where 36 deaths occurred in the last 24 hours, 441 new deaths were certified as Covid-19 deaths based on revised rules and 124 were death which was late because of the delay in obtaining documents.
With this, the death toll rises to 56,701 in the state.
Among new patients, 202 has returned from outside the country, while 39,118 has contracted a virus through contact.
The source of infection of 2,913 patients is still unknown, and 444 health workers are also tested positive for Covid-19.
