Bhubaneswar: The day after the state government decided to reopen universities and colleges to continue the offline class from Monday, the authority of higher education institutions in this country was all prepared to welcome their students again.
The Ministry of Higher Education on Friday directed the principles of universities and representatives of the State University Chancellor to reopen the hostel from Sunday and so on.

Sanjay Kumar Satapati, Deputy Chancellor of the University of Bhawanipatna, said they were ready to welcome the students on Monday.
“We will finish cleaning and sanitation work on Sunday.
We will handle a clearing class of doubts for students Plus II and students (UG) students who will appear for offline checks immediately,” he added.
He said the Left theory and the practical classes of science students will be carried out.
Because of the closure of colleges and universities, practical classes cannot be held according to the schedule.
Likewise, other institutions include the Utkal University, FM University Balalasore, a mixed university and the University of Sambalpur is ready to continue the offline class from Monday.
Most institutions will focus on holding practical classes / laboratories as soon as possible.
After holding several offline classes for each subject, each institution will hold an examination.
Higher education institutions will follow existing standard operating procedures (SOP) while holding offline classes and academic activities.
Wearing a face mask or face cover will be mandatory.
Institutions must often ensure hand cleaning or hand sanitation in its place.
Social distance will be adopted in classrooms, libraries, and laboratories.
These institutions must encourage monitoring their own health.
The department also requested its educational institution to do all the examinations through offline mode just by following the Covid-19 guidelines.
