Mumbai: The city on Saturday reported 643 fresh Covid-19 cases, took the calculation in the metropolitan to 10.50,837, while four deaths increased the number of victims to 16,658, said a citizenship official.
This is the third consecutive day when new cases remain below 1,000, with Friday and Thursday viewed 846 and 827 infections, he said.
He also said 553, or 86%, of 645 cases detected asymptomatik, with 92 hospitalized required in the last 24 hours, from who needed oxygen support.
Only 1,558 of the 37,192 beds intended for Covid-19 treatment are currently occupied in Mumbai, added Civic officials.
So far, 10,24,991 people, or 97% of the total casel, have been repatriated after recovery, including 1,402 during the day, leaving the city with the active calculation of 6,367, he said.
With 43,925 samples examined in the last 24 hours, the number of tests in Mumbai rose to 1.55.11.336, the data Corporation Municipal Brihanmumbai showed.
It also revealed that the doubts of Caseload were 666 days, while three buildings were sealed.
Mumbai has reported a record of 20,971 cases on January 7 this year in the midst of the third wave of pandemic.
