Ahmedabad: A 22-year-old Shahpur woman has filed a complaint of the police who alleged that her husband struggled and threw it for not opening the door for him as he wanted.
The woman filed firs with Shahpur police on Thursday.
He said that day he rested in his room and her husband came home late and knocked on the door of the room.
The woman said in the FIR which she got up from the bed immediately and opened the door.
But her husband was angry and accused him of opening the door late.
When he tried to calm him down, he began to struggle.
The woman said that her husband pushed him to the floor and tried to strangle him.
He said that he banged his head to the wall, leaving him to hurt.
He said when the attack ended, he pushed him and his one year old son out of the house.
The woman called the police control room and then filed a complaint against her husband under the household violence law.
He stated in pine that her husband continued to demand money from his parents to start a business.
But when his parents did not have a financial means, he used to struggle because he did not bring dowry.
The woman stated that it was pired that her husband, who she married in 2019, even forced her to sell her jewelry to get money.
Shahpur police have registered complaints and have begun investigated.
