Bhubaneswar: The day after the state government decided to reopen universities and colleges for offline classes from Monday, the authorities in higher education institutions prepare to welcome students again.
The Ministry of Higher Education on Friday directed the principles of universities and representatives of the State University Chancellor to reopen the hostel from Sunday and so on.
Some students are expected to check in to each hostel on Sunday before the start of the offline class.
Because institutions will be reopened after about a month, cleaning and sanitization of classrooms, hostels, toilets and other utilities will be carried out.
Universities and universities are closed since January 10 because of the increase in Covid-19 cases in the third wave of pandemic.
Aparajita Chowdhury, Deputy Chancellor of the University of Women Rama Devi, said they were waiting to start offline classes.
“We will hold a tutorial class for students who have doubts.
Counseling will also be held for students to make them ready for the offline exam,” Chowdhury said.
Sanjay Kumar Satapati, Deputy Chancellor of the University of Universities, Bhawanipatna, said, “We will complete the work of cleaning and sanitation on Sunday.
We will hold a clearing class of doubts for students plus II and scholars (UG) students who will soon appear for offline exams.
“He said the theory and practical classes for science science will also be held.
