Coimbatore: Election officials, who examined the nominees submitted by candidates for the contest at the 100 Ward City Corporation, on Saturday reject 86 of 1,130 nominations.
Sources said that some nominations submitted by independent candidates were rejected because they had flaws.
While some of them have the left space provided for important important details, others have provided wrong information factually, which causes rejection.
