Coimbatore: City police have formed a special team to arrest a 39-year-old man, who postponed his 26-year-old brother to death with a hammer in Kaveran Nagar in Ramanathapuram on Friday.
Almared was identified as C Muthu, a native village in Pennagaram, Dharmapuri District.
He is a construction worker.
The king felt that Muthu incited Muthulakshmi and decided to kill him.
Muthulakshmi came to Coimbatore on Wednesday and lived with Muthu in the quarter of workers at the Church of Nagar at Kaveri Nagar.
“On Friday about 1 in the morning, Muthulakshmi opened the warehouse door and went to the restroom.
The king, who was hiding nearby, entered the warehouse and attacked Muthu with a hammer.
Even though he managed to escape from that place, other workers saw the king escape from the warehouse , “said a police officer.
Muthu was rushed to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital, but the doctor said he died.
The police have registered a case against the king below 302 (killings) and 449 (Trespass House to commit violations that can be punished with death) from the Criminal Code.
