CIMS holds tele-triage to monitor Covid cases

MySuru: Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) is doing tele triage to monitor positive covid patients.
Dedicated staff arranged for units to advise patients when they are in house isolation.
In case the patient requires hospitalization, the facility will direct them to the Covid treatment center.
Staff also assess if patients need hospitalization or medical care under house isolation.
As soon as data from the state war room is accepted, the tele-trialing process is carried out by the unit for all positive cases in three phases.
Based on tele-triadie, the case will be categorized into hospitalization, house isolation, has been hospitalized, or unresponsive.
Dedicated staff members will contact infected people through telephone numbers provided at the time of testing.
Covid patients with diabetes, blood pressure and other comorbidities will be recommended for hospitalization.
They will be taken in the ambulance to the Covid District Hospital and sent to the Covid Care Center.
Patients recommended for home insulation will be visited by health workers from each PHCS and accredited social health activists to send health kits to their homes.

As on Friday, the district has 2,066 active cases, and from them, 10 patients are in the ICU.
About 1,811 is in a house isolation.
Of the 41, 932 people tested positive since the plague of pandemic, 39,312 had recovered.
The district has the death of 593 Covid so far.
