Amritsar / Chandigarh: The day before the announcement of the Senior Congress Rahul Gandhi about the face of the party chairman on Sunday, the president of the Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu said that the face (cm) would be a determining factor if 60 MLA was chosen or not to form the next government.
Speaking to the media in Amritsar, Sidhu said that someone who had a road map for Punjab and who enjoyed people’s trust can only ensure 60 contestants were chosen as a legislator.
He refers to the requirements of 59 parliamentarians needed to form a government.
“Sixty MLA will be made by people who have a road map and enjoy the trust of people.
The face will decide whether 60 (contestants) become mlaas or not,” he said.
Asked about the congress plan to announce his cm-pick at Rahul’s Virtual Rally in Ludhiana, Sidhu just said, “Anyone who gets responsibility will have absolute power and put it aside.
If there are people who are honest on the pyramid of the person below Will be honest.
“He said the party’s high command was very mature and would make a decision after contemplating all these things.
Both Sidhu and Charanjit Minister Singh Channi have demanded that the party announce his CM face on Rahul’s last visit to Punjab on January 27.
Following that, the party has launched training to take feedback from voters and workers.
The choice given is – Channi, Sidhu or leave without a face cm.
On the other hand, the Chairman of the Manifesto Committee Partap Singh Bajwa was not convincing about the step by Congress to mention His CM candidate.
“It’s bait by the opposition, and we shouldn’t play into their hands.
I don’t think the Congress will increase by revealing the face of the CM.
My advice is to look after everything,” he said.
Sidhu has been pitched for honest people on the power pyramid that must have a vision to place a punjab on the path of development and prosperity.
By declaring that the punjab model will take two to three years to make Punjab a prosperous country of, what is claimed by Sidhu, a failed country, but only if there are honest people on the pyramid to lead the country.
“Punjab reached this position in 30 years of the last rude behavior and will take at least two-three years to restore the development path and restore pure glory,” he said.
