New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday declared Chararjit Singh Channi as the face of the party minister for the election of the punjab on the event that was widely watched in Ludhiana.
The emergence of a 58-year-old Dalit legislator from Chamkaur Sahib is almost meteoric.
More because the top leaders such as the president of the Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu also competed to become a party face in the state.

Projecting ‘humble cm’ who has ruled Punjab under Patiala Royal Amarinder Singh, Congress is now trying to spill anti-adventure by highlighting Channi’s humble roots.
“He understands problems related to deep poverty,” Rahul Gandhi praised Channi when he made announcements today.
Congress has tried Channi Project as someone who comes from the road and can mix with the masses.
It is not feasible to remove other CM congresses that truly distance themselves from former leaders and Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
The party now blames him because of the many problems faced by the state.
By damaging Channi, the party will be left without work to be displayed.
Instead, it was cunning to present Channi’s work as in contrast to Amarinder Singh.
The problem of corruption in his speech on Sunday, Channi said that he descended hard in the sand mafia and other people and many people were now annoyed with him.
