VIJAYAPURA: The classes were suspended at Shanteshwar Education Trust in Vijayapura on Monday after several students arrived at the campus wearing Sola Turmeric in the middle of the hijab line that was ongoing in the Karnataka educational institution.
“The government’s command to treat everyone is equally a welcome step, and that is why we came here in turmeric food to support our brothers and sisters,” said one student who came to campus wearing turmeric.

The girls wearing hijab continued with their demands to be allowed to enter the classroom in the PU College government in the Kundapura area of the Udupi district.
PU College female students accused that the government on Friday stopped them to enter the campus campus wearing a headscarf.
Previous students from Anmol College in Kundapura Sporting Saffron were in a sign of protests against those who raised the demands to wear a headscarf in PU College.
Anmol College students were allowed on the campus on Saturday only after they issued a turmeric pool.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Education Minister, BC Nagesh has said that wearing a turmeric or headscarf pool is not allowed in the classroom.
The pre-university education council on Saturday releases a circle stating that only uniforms approved by the school administration will be permitted and there are no other religious practices that will be permitted in college.
