Noida: A driver of the Autorickshaw was arrested on Monday for killing a 22-year-old woman, who he said he received “Supari” from the victim’s husband.
The 28-year-old murder was accused, Rambir aka Sahu, has also been ordered based on part 376 IPC for allegedly having intimate relationships with a corpse.
The police said the woman’s husband, who was also arrested, and the driver of the car was friends.
Police said Rambir had been offered Rs 1.5 lakh for murder and victim’s husband, who sold Kachoris near Mahamaya Flyover, wanting to marry his brother-in-law.
On January 20, the husband contacted the police, saying he returned to find his wife’s body in their home.
A pine under the IPC part 302 (murder) was put forward at the Sector Police Station 126.Ravijay Singh, ADCP, Noida, said Rambir was arrested near Sector 94 ‘Chakkar’s goal’.
“During the interrogation, he told the police that on January 19, the woman’s husband asked him to kill him and promised to pay Rs 70,000.
He also gave Rs 2,000 as a down payment to the defendant, who went to the liquor store and spent the money.
On January 20 , the husband met with the defendant again near Mahamaya Flyover and tried to convince him to kill his wife, but he refused.
He then offered Rambir Rs 1.5 lakh, and this time, he received, “Singh said.
Dambir got permission to enter the house after telling her husband to hand over her money to her.
“Inside, he slapped the woman and caused an injury to his head with his ring.
He fell to the ground fainting, and he banged on the head of the woman on the floor several times after he died in place,” Singh added.
The autopsy report revealed that the woman was sexually brushed.
The police said the defendant said during his interrogation as if to soak the woman after killing him.
Section 376 (rape) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) has been added to FIR.
