Pune: Daily medical oxygen demand has dropped to 81 metric tons (MT) in the district, in accordance with the decrease in Covid cases in recent days.
Requirements have reached almost 95 MT in mid-January.
“Demand for medical oxygen, including for non-covid patients, has dropped to 81 Mt.
We have given instructions to the government and private hospitals to prepare themselves with the availability of oxygen.

With the addition of 17 new oxygen plant plants proposed, the capacity will increase further to 71 metric tons.
