The Danish Audio Brand Jabra has announced that the Bluetooth multipoint feature has been launched for the active Earbud 7 Pro and Elite 7 Jabra 7 through firmware updates on the Jabra Sound + application for iOS and Android users.
This is the first and most awaited firmware upgrade offered to Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 active users, following the launch on October 2021, according to Jabra.
With the addition of multipoint features, Elite 7 Pro and Elite 7 active users can be connected and switch between two devices simultaneously, making it convenient to switch from their cellphones to laptops and space.
The user will get push notifications in the sound + application to update the firmware on the headset, to activate Bluetooth multipoint.
Sound + application is available on the App Store and Google Play.
Bluetooth multipointbluetooth multipoint technology allows users to watch videos or listen to music on one device and quickly answer important calls on other devices, without having to grope reconnect the Earbud.
This technology is intended to automatically prioritize connections to devices that receive incoming calls through one streaming content, so users do not need to worry about losing important calls when they listen to music or stream their favorite TV shows.
If the user has made a call and receives a new incoming call, they will hear a knock on telling them.
By pressing the Earbud button, they can end an active call and answer that in, give them the freedom to move between devices and calls.
