Hyderabad: The Directorate of Enforcement, Delhi, conducted a search in Hyderabad at Amr Mining Limited in connection with the case in Jammu and Kashmir.
Source said official Ed Delhi along with the Hyderabad team conducted a shared search at Amr Mining in Kamalapuri colony in Banjara Hills.
AMR mining was promoted by a Mahesh Reddy, who was also a film producer.
Source ed said: “The case is related to 2010.
There is a transaction of Rs 60 Crore by Amr Mining.
We are investigating the role of the main functionary in the government.” Omar Abdullah is CM from Jammu and Kashmir in 2010.
Ed has investigated the case of the Jammet Cricket Association and Kashmir against Abdullah.
I-T Sleuth in May 2018 has searched the office and the residence of Mahesh.
He is also a director of Aascot Builders, Amr Warehousing, Amr Energy, Vaalido Entertainment Private Ltd, Amr Agro Farms, AMR India, A & M Resources and Amr Malind Infra Private Ltd.
There was no response from Amr Mining and the promoter when TOI contacted them.
