Kolkata: In a joint attack by Mumbai and the Kolkata police center division, which lasted for more than 24 hours, one Rashid Sakil (52) from Thane, was accused of robbing and giving birth to a woman’s doctor and hurt her, had been arrested Sunday.
“He was picked up late at night from Gulsan Hotel in Collin Street,” police said.
The defendant stabbed the victim when he collected Swabs for RT-PCR tests and looting ornaments (worth Rs 88,000), RS 5,000 in cash and cellphones in January.
