Patna: The Country Cabinet on Tuesday gave its permission on the government’s decision to supply ‘Poshanyukt Chawal (Fortifies Rice)’ to a public distribution store (PDSS) in the state to overcome the problem of malnutrition in large quantities of population in rural and urban areas.
In this case, Bihar State Food and Civil Corporation (BSCSC) has been authorized to choose the institution needed for rice supply enriched with PDSS.
The election will be carried out through the right tender process, the Secretary Secretary Secretary Secretary Department of Sanjay Kumar said.
The relevant agency will also be allowed to buy a bicensed rice kernel (FRK) that must be mixed with rice to prepare enriched rice.
This will require mixing 1kg frk with 99kg of rice.
The proposal for cabinet permits has been moved by the Food and Consumer Protection Department.
As a target person, this scheme will cover 85% of rural populations and 75% of those who live in urban areas.
The Cabinet also gave Sanction RS72.82 Crore for the construction of their specific buildings in Bagada and Valmyakikar in the West Chamaran District to accommodate the office intended for Mahila Swabhiman Vishesh Sashastra Bal.
The sanctions were also given to the health department proposal for the creation of 32 posts to Man Bihar Health Science University, Patna.
The building’s construction department has been allowed to choose representatives from the school of Bihar Yoga Darshan or those who are authorized, to prepare the curriculum needed for free Kendra Yoga at Shastri Nagar on Patna.
