Ranchi: The Facts Discovery Team of the People for Civil Liberties (PUCL) Jharkhand has claimed that the police and forest officials can prevent Mafia-Lynching Sanju Pradhan in the Simsedega district they have acted diligently.
Pradhan was beaten and then established locals in Besrajara Village on January 5 to cut down trees.
Pukl said that the village body had complained to forest officials about logging trees but the latter did not take action.
It stated that even though the police were present at the spot when people struggled Pradhan, they made a little effort to save him.
The organization has demanded that the FIR must be registered against police officers who are responsible for adding that the government must provide compensation and work for the family.
The organization also demanded separate investigations by the State Human Rights Commission in this regard.
Among other demands of the organs train police and forest officials about local habits.
