Vadodara: high drama witnessed near Kasamala Kabrastan when the top brass of selected wings from Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) went there to ask about encroachment after repeated complaints from people living in the area.
The top VMC officials included the Chairman of the Permanent Committee Dr.
Hitendra Patel and Deputy Mayor of Nanda Joshi and the others have paid tribute to Ustad Faiyaz Khan at the commemoration of his birth in the ‘Mazar’ area located in the area.
When the group was present there, local leaders including the Corporator raised the issue of encroachment.
Patel, Joshi and others went to the site and asked them to be present there to provide papers to show ownership or rent a place where they did business.

A man who was present on the site was allegedly angry and signed an argument with functionaries.

Officials told the police that they came to the site and held Sunni and others.
VMC decided to drive the immediate demolition and the department of encroachment was asked to take action.
The person who has established encroachment itself began to save whatever they could before the VMC team arrived.
“The drive was carried out on the stretch of the Kabrashan Kabrashan to Hathikhana.
We delete 40 colors, 35 sidewalks and two vehicles.
In the three material trucks removed,” said VMC Security Director Dr.
Mangesh Jaiswal.
Patel said that part of the land where the nuances have been established belonging to the Rana community.
