Budget Discussion at the General Council Meeting from February 17

Vadodara: General Board Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) will take the annual budget for discussion from February 17.
The budget is expected to be skipped in the same week.
The firm committee of the Civic body cleared the RS budget of 3.839 before the budget proposed by Rs 3.834crore by the VMC Commissioner.
The budget cleaned by a fixed committee will now be presented before the Civic Body General Board for the last nod.
The Board consists of all selected representatives from the Civic Agency.
Under the Covid-19 outbreak, the budget meeting will not be held in the General Council Meeting Hall at the Khanderao Market Headquarters of the Civic body.
This will be held at Sir Auditorium Ijirao Nagaro in the City of Akota.
In addition to discussions about the budget, the annual budget meeting also provides an opportunity for opposition to target BJP in power on various problems.
This is expected to occur even at the meeting on February 17.
