Lucknow: Launched a spicy attack on the powerful BJP, Head of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday said the government only distributed Diqqat, Qillat Aur Zillat (problem, scarcity and disgrace) to people who need and disturb the brotherhood and water.
He said even though the final results of the election would be announced on March 10, but saw the enthusiasm of the people who stood out of them to give their voices, it seemed that the defeat of BJP would be sealed in the first phase of the vote itself.
On his Diqqat, Qillat Aur Zillat Jibe, SP’s head said during a pandemic of a pregnant worker had to walk home hundreds of kilometers and give birth to a princess on the road.
Without medical assistance, the woman took a newborn baby and walked to her home village hundreds of kilometers away.
The government does not offer assistance to the woman.
“Is the SP government in power, the district judge vehicles will transport their homes if there are no other alternatives,” said Akhilesh, overcoming a public meeting along with alliance partners and head of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) Jayant Chaudhary at Bijnor on Thursday.
Former CM remembered that at least 90 migrant workers breathed their last breath on the road while walking hundreds of kilometers from their workplace to their original villages above, but the government was not advancing to help.
“However, the leaders of the Jamajwadi party reached most of them and helped them in any way possible,” he said.
He said Covid was a period of crisis in everything and people were allowed to bring their loved ones on their shoulders to find hospital beds and arrange oxygen cylinders.
The government not only failed to meet their needs during the crisis, but left ordinary people to become a mute audience for countless corpses found floating on the Ganges.
“They are not even ready to reveal the number of bodies found floating,” he said.
Akhilesh focuses on ‘black farm laws’ and insults that farmers are forced to face after being described as militants.
The partner of his alliance Jayant Chaudhary said the election in the first phase showed that the people above were waiting to use their franchise and the poor and deprived of their anger vent by pressing the EVM button hard.
This is a sign of changes sought by people, he said.
