Mangaluru: Mangaluru International Airport has received the Voice of the International Board (ACI) airport award, because of the efforts entered by all stakeholders and employees.
The airport was awarded to demonstrate endless efforts in gathering feedback on customer requirements in 2021., and providing the best travel experience in its class.
Daunched in 2020, ACI’s recognition acknowledged that the airport continued efforts were committed to give priority to their passengers, and ensure that their voices were heard during a pandemic in 2021.
Pandemics, Mia meets the norms and protocols, in line with the government and state government, while Prioritize the health and safety of the passengers.
The initiative recognized to this award also acknowledged that various passenger-centric initiatives began last year, to facilitate safe and comfortable.
Traveled during the pandemic, and the effectiveness of their initiative through the quarterly Feedback of Su Rveys.
Touchless features such as the usual cinema self-service (cuss) services for passengers to check in and produce their own luggage tags, and e-gates that allow passengers to scan their boarding passes to proceed to security checks, installed.
Re-regulation of the seating area in the terminal to maintain social distance, and the installation of plexi-glass counters to minimize face-to-face interactions, are some of the many initiatives introduced for safe transit passengers through the airport.
