Vadodara: Covid-19 Cases continue to decline in Vadodara City and Regency.
On Sunday night, Vadodara saw the addition of 336 fresh positive cases.
A week ago, on the last Sunday, the city and the district had registered almost three times the case.
New cases have begun to fall under the 400 mark since 10 February even when the sample was tested remained almost the same.
New cases are the result of 3,519 samples tested in 24 hours starting from Saturday night.
With the addition of 336 cases, the total number of Covid-19 cases since the beginning of the pandemic had touched 1.32,121.
As in the past, the West VMC zone was taken into account for the maximum number of Covid-19 cases.
With the addition of 75 fresh cases in this zone, the total number of cases here has touched 26,610.
The north and south zone has added 64 fresh cases each after where the total number in this zone has reached 23,756 and 24,835.
The east zone on the other hand has added 54 new cases with a total number of cases to 19,437.
Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) also stated that four deaths on Sunday took the official death toll from Covid-19 to 702 on Saturday.
At the same time, the number of patients declared as exile standing in 397 took the total amount of disposal to 1.27,832.
The city and district count for 3,587 active patients, of which 3,345 are currently in house isolation.
Of the 242 patients who were hospitalized, 14 were treated with the support of ventilator or BI-PAP, 43 in the ICU but without ventilator support, 76 was treated with the support of oxygen while 109 patients had mild symptoms that did not require oxygen support.
