Bengaluru: Former Employees of Amazon Rohit KadiMisetty were sentenced to 10 months in prison and a $ 50,000 fine for fraud and bribery schemes, news release from the US Justice Department.
There are accusations against the other five.
“Kadimisetty uses his knowledge and contacts from the previous job at Amazon, to enrich himself by manipulating a list on the Amazon Marketplace,” said US Jacan Nick Brown.
“He is a critical Cog on the wheel of bribery: paying contacts in India to restore suspended accounts, steal confidential information, and attack competitors who prevent those who fund bribery schemes.” Kadiefetty worked on Amazon as an associate of seller support based on Hyderabad.
