Four suicidal attempts accused forcing ‘Ouster’

Rajkot: Four people including three women who live in the Gautam Park area seeking suicide in the shop on Monday, allegating that the owner of dairy farms forced them to empty their house.
Manju vaghela (39), Ketan Sagathiya (27),) and Shobhna Chavda (35), all the residents of the Soujit Society in the Park Gautam area near the Mavdi police headquarters came to Shav Shakti Milk and consumed phenyl.
They were taken to a civil hospital where the conditions were all out of danger.
Four leaving suicide notes typed where they named three Jagdish Patel, owner of the milk shop.
“The problem is related to the land purchased by Jagdish Patel in 2018.
There are around 10 families living in this land purchased by Patel.
His residents alleged that they had lived in this land for the past 35 years but were forced to empty,” police said.
” We have poor people who are helpless and have no other place to live in.
We don’t have a job because of the situation induced by Covid-19 but we were pressed by landowners to empty the place, “Note suicide.
Patel, however, denied the allegations and told the media people that it was a pressure tactic to extract money.
“We have all the legal documents of land purchase.
This is unfounded accusations,” Claimed Patel.
