Vadodara: Only eight critical Covid-19 patients are now being treated in a ventilator or bipap machine in the city and district.
This is among 302 active cases that are now still under hospital care or at home.
On Tuesday, 16 new cases were detected in the city and district of 1,721 samples tested.
This took the total number of Covid-19 cases detected in the city and districts since the pandemic began at 71,689.
The official death toll remained at 623 because there was no new death confirmed by Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC).
New positive cases include six of the district outside the area of VMC and 10 from the city.
In addition to eight patients in ventilators or bipap machines, 17 others in oxygen support.
