Gurugram: The Gurugram head protocol officer, who is also the deputy commissioner of Panipat, has been accused of taking bribes from the sanitation company to clean his bill and expand his contract.

A administrative official in Sanitation Sanitation Solutions Private Limited, the Daral Chaktit, filed a complaint to the state citizenship bureau on May 29 against Panipat Municipal Corporation officials accused that they had requested bribes every month to clean the bill and extend their contract.
The company has a sanitation contract in Panipat, Rohtak, Bahadurgarh, Panchkula and Sonipat for about two years.
Basis said one of their directors, Krishhan, told him on May 29 that he had called Suresh, to cleanse Sanipat, to clean a few bills and extend their work contract.
But to do the job, the official was allegedly demanding Rs 13.7 lakh.
Then, Daral went to the Rohtak office of the Department of the Great Department to file a complaint.

On May 31, the Department of Secretary Officials arrested Suresh when he took Rs 13.7 lakh from a company official.
He talked about Vashisht’s involvement during questioning, officials said.

Around RS 1.37 lakh is for the head officer in Civic’s body, Sunil Dahiya, Rs 1.37 Lakh is for the Pradeep Punia auditor, Rs 2.74 Lakh is for Suresh and the remaining amount must be distributed among several other employees.
Sanitation Solutions Director Sanitation told the citizenship bureau that citizenship officials will also take Rs 2 lakh per month towards their contract extension and Suresh will raise money.
Panipat District lawyer Rajesh Choudhary said the local court provided anticipatory guarantee to Vashisht.
The Public Prosecutor Arvind Sharma said: “The officers are appointed at the influential post and he can influence the witness, evidence, and the final result of this case.
It is important to take him to police custody to get complete details about this case and find out who else is involved.”
