Vadodara: There is an interesting twist for agitation organized by city-based groups to oppose price increases.
The group has been accused of violating the Covid safety protocol during the program.
The violation was registered on Sunday, but the organizer of the ‘Team Revolution’ group was known only on Monday when they were called at the police station.
The Shwejal Vyas group leader was arrested on Monday and he refused to take a guarantee.
The group has organized agitation on Sunday at Jay Narayan Society in Gorwa to oppose the increase in milk prices.
Previously, it also organized agitation to condemn the increase in gasoline and diesel prices.
This group plans to give a milk bag to someone who raises the slogan to the price increase, two bags if the person shows a selfie with a canporator, three for selfies with MLA, five people with cm and 10 if clicked by PM.
While the police did not stop the event, it took action later.
Vyas said that sufficient security measures were taken in the venue including after distinguishing social and hand sanitaryization.
But his violation stated that the guideline was not followed and a jignesh man also complained about this to the police.
Vyas said that nayak had 10 bags of milk and complained later.
“It is clear that he has been sent by people from the powerful party.
His violations are inappropriate for and we will not take a guarantee,” he said.
The group also demanded a violation to be registered with BJP leaders in the city.
Allegedly that an event was held in Gorwa by BJP where Covid guidelines were violated.
“Why was the BJP event ignored? It was attended by the top BJP officials in the city.
We have filed a complaint against him,” Vyas said.
