Rajkot: Four people including BJP leaders Chhabil Patel were accused of lurking key witnesses in the murder of former BJP MLA from Kutch Jayanti Bhanushali, released by the court in Gandhidham, Kutch on Tuesday.
The court observed that the Investigation Agency did not produce electronic evidence needed to prove this case.
Rhanusi was killed on the train engaged in January 2019.
The key witness in his murder was co-passenger Pawan More, Gandhidham residents.
When Bhanushali was killed, Patel was one of the keys accused in this case, out of India.
The court on Tuesday released Patel, Piyush Vasani, Rasik Patel and Komesh Pokar, which was ordered under the Indian Criminal Section (IPC) 115 (reduction of violations punished by death or a life sentence) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) to peek at more.
While Chhabil Patel is the key accused of the murder of Bhanushali, three allegedly accused of surveillance cases, not accused of murder cases.
According to the details of the case, after the murder of Bhanushali, more complain to the police that someone led him and had done a reception in the office, factory, home and other hangout places.
Based on a major investigation, FIR was registered at the Gandhidham B division police station in March 2019 against Chhabil Patel, Vasani, Rasik Patel and Komesh Pokar.
“The police in Chargeshets alleged that three people carried out recees on Chhabil Patel’s orders and wanted to kill more if they got the opportunity,” said Joshi, advocate representing the defendant.
But prosecution could not prove their case in court, he continued in Oral orders, the court said the police could not provide electronic evidence to prove their case.
