Rajkot: The tense relationship between the two divorced people ended with a 30-year-old brutal murder and his 12-year-old son with a boy’s body recovered from the gutter in Bhavnagar on Thursday night.
The police first discovered Shivam Joshi’s body from the gutter in Sidsar-Vartej Road and further investigation led them to the flat where his mother was killed.
The crime was allegedly executed by Ankita Paramour Hemal Shah in Jan Kalyan Apartment at Waghwadi Road where she lived.
Shah and Ankita, who were equally divorced, were in a relationship for the past year and he came to live with him permanently with his son on Thursday.
Shah has an AC workshop.
When he found Shivam’s body, the police actually scans CCTV cameras and narrowed to several cars that looked suspicious of their movements.
At the same time, they also got information from Jan Kalyan Apartment about some unwanted incidents.
When the police reached the apartment, they found Ankita lying dead in a pool of blood.
They took Shah to be questioned and he claimed to have committed a crime.
“Shah slit the woman’s throat and her son.
There are some bitter quarrels between them when Ankita came to her home to start living there.
However, we still questioned the accusations to ensure the reason behind the crime was so terrible,” said Safi Hassan, Assistant Assistant Assistant Police, Bhavnagar.
After killing Ankita and Shivam, Shah threw away the last body in his car and threw it into the drainage line, about seven km from his apartment, because it was an isolated place with a minimal human movement.
The police have also recovered axes and knives from crime and send weapons for forensic examinations.
Resources in the Police Department said that Shah had previously been ordered in a prohibit violation, theft and cruelty of animals because he was mercilessly whipping a wild dog in the past.
