Vadodara: BJP changes the table on the Aimim Alliance, Congress and an independent company at Municipality Godhra on Thursday.
President of the Municipality and Independent Corporator Sanjay Soni left the Alliance and joined BJP.
Civil polls in Godhra have been dominated by independently and BJP must depend on them to form a majority despite winning a large number of seats.
Asaduddin Owaisa – Leading All India Majlis-e-Itehad-Ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) which has entered the poll for the first time, along with Independently, does not allow the Safron Party to rule this time.
In the city of 44 members, BJP has won 18 seats, Aimim has seven and Congress gets one seat.

BJP wants to form a majority with independent support, but it does not happen and Aimim, Congress and 17 independent companies come together to form alliances.

Congress is also a contest on a limited number of seats.
Aimim has been fighting over a poll for the first time in town in eight seats and won seven of them.
BJP has received support from 21 Canporators when holding a meeting to appoint the chairman of the municipal committee.
