Cid crime in Rajkot on Thursday night seized 183 kg of poisonous peppermint candy which was worth 80,000 from a house on Jalan Kothariya.
People who have smuggled shares are captured and candy samples are sent for forensic testing.
Cid crime raided Rajendra Gupta’s house in the Tirupati community based on specific information.
They found peppermint candy hidden in some large plastic bags each containing 40 small bags stacked with peppermint packages.
Sleuth Cid found the 800 packages weighing 183kg.
The police found various addresses of address Fatehpur and Allahabad from the manufacturer in the bag.
According to the police, accused Gupta, indigenous residents of Bhojpur Bihar District, lived in Rajkot since the last few years and did work work.
He began to bring this kind of peppermint in the last few months of Uttar Pradesh and provided these packages for sale in shops ‘Paan’.

Cid Police Inspector J J Chancannan registered this violation with the Ajidam Rajkot police station on Friday and handed over an investigation to the local police.
