Vadodara: Letter-based travel agent was ordered by police Narmada on Friday to sell the statue of the entrance ticket unity (sou) at a higher price.
A staff sou detected fraud when he checked tickets near the watch gallery in Sou.Cording to Sou’s official, the staff noticed that the number at 12 tickets was more than the actual cost.
While the entrance ticket for adults is sold at Rs 380, the agent has collected Rs 410 per ticket from seven adults.
And, Rs 260 is charged per child not Rs 230.
When tourists are questioned, they say that they have bought tickets from agents in the letter.
Sou’s officials said that tourists must immediately order entrance tickets both from official mobile phones or websites.
On July 16, Sou’s officials had solved similar rackets and arrested 23 tickets sold at higher prices.
The agent who sells the ticket has been damaged at the actual price.
