Mangaluru: This city has recorded an increase in the number of vehicle registration during the pandemic year, which might be associated with irregular public transport services.
Mangaluru RTO Ramesh Vernekar told TOI that between July 2019 and June 2020, almost 22.500 two wheels and 6,400 registered cars.
Likewise, between July 2020 to June 2021, 24,210 two wheels 7,750 registered cars.
