Gurgaon: The district health department plans to conduct vaccination camps in the housing community, community and industrial centers to provide a second dose to the recipient.
Health officials said vaccination camps for the first dose were held in March and April at 285 sites, including in public housing, condominium and industry.
“The emphasis will now be in the second dose administration.
Decisions have been made since people who are vaccinated in these camps are now scheduled to get the second dose of their vaccines.
Vaccine (second dose) will be given for free at 285 sites,” said Dr.
MP Singh, district immunization officer.
He added that some housing communities began the vaccine camp.
There is no Vax Govt camp today the Ministry of Health will not have vaccinations on the site of the government session on Sundays.
Gurgaon quit 22,010 people on Saturday 17,313 people were in the age group 18 to 44.
A total of 4,102 recipients were in a 45-plus category.
Also, 184 health workers and 411 frontline workers were vaccinated.
As many as 100 session sites were established across private and government health institutions.
As many as 11,895 people received their first dose and 10,115 received their second dose.
“We have enough vaccine stock for us and will receive new stocks at least 10,000 doses,” Singh added.
City saw 9 new cases meanwhile, Gurgaon reported nine new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, took cooperatives to 1,80,942.
With this, the number of active Covid cases in Gurgaon stands at 83.
Overall, 73 patients are in house isolation and 10 are in hospitals and a dedicated Covid-19 health center.
In the last 24 hours, Gurgaon did 4,196 tests, where 780 was a quick antigen test and 3,416 tests were RT-PCR tests.
The result of 1,659 tests was still awaited.
In addition, five recovery recorded on Saturday, increasing the total recovery amount to 1,79,939.
