Rajkot: A 16-year-old boy hung himself at his home in Kararna Village Lalpur Taluka from Jamnagar on Sunday night.
He was taken to the hospital in Jamnagar where he died on Monday.
Yash Rathod who has died recently cleared the XII class test (science) and was preparing for the Gujarat (Gujcet) general entrance test.
“He was under pressure that he would not be able to perform well in Gujcet and therefore he took this extreme step.
This is what Rathod family members say,” said a police officer.
