Vadodara: History-Sheeter involved in seven thefts in Vadodara was arrested on Monday by Manjalpur police.
The defendant was identified as Ankit Patuwadiya, who lived in Shinor, was arrested on Jalan Vadsar based on Tip-Off.
As long as it was questioned, Patuwadiya told the police that in the past two weeks, he was involved in several theft in the city.
Only a week ago, he had stolen Rs 12,000 in cash from a shop near the Vadsar bridge and also targeted a sports shop in Sevasi about 10 days ago.
Patuwadiya has stolen sports equipment worth Rs 59,000 from the store.
“We have taken cash 1.2 lakh cash, sports bikes, scooters, silver coins, two cellphones and tools used by them to enter shops.
Thieves have admitted targeting shops in the complex and malls at night and used To steal cash and valuables, “said a police officer.
In the past, seven theft and cases of theft were registered at JP Road, Dabhoi and Vadodara Taluka Stations.
Five more cases will be registered at the Manjalpur police station, Gotri, Raopura and Vadodara Taluka after receiving Patuwadiya for new theft.
