Coimbatore: A 32-year-old private city bus driver was arrested on Monday night for raping and impregnating his 17-year-old daughter near Madukkarai.
The defendant was returned in the custody of the justice and nested in Sathyamangalam sub-prison on Tuesday.
Police officers said the little girl studied in class XI in the city school.
“His father died about 13 years ago.
After that, his mother developed an affair with a private city bus driver, who had separated from his wife more than eight years ago.
He lives in the girl’s house.” When the girl did not go home in October.
Then, the officer said, the bus driver estimated the girl on several occasions.
