Rajkot: A 35-year-old man was ordered for allegedly raping a married woman and persecuted his small daughter in Halvad City in Morbi Regency on Thursday.
According to the Halvad police, a 35-year-old woman filed a complaint to Kamlesh Bhorania, a resident of Halvad City, under various parts of the Indian criminal code including rape and under the protection of children from the Sexual Act (Pocso), 2019.
He stated In his complaint that he and Bhorania were in a relationship over the past two years.
While they were together, Bhorania secretly clicked on the photo and recorded their intimate video moments.
The defendant then began to threaten to circulate a video on social media when the woman tried to end the relationship.
The woman further stated in her complaint that Bhorania was suspected of persecuting her 16-year-old daughter.
Fed up by the squeeze, the woman told her husband about Bhorania and approached Halvad’s police.
The police said that the defendant had fled the city and a manhunt was launched to arrest him.
