BELOGIVAVA: Members of the right-wing clothing attack and robbed the Dalit family including three women on charges of conversion in Tukkant in Mudalagi.
District police have ordered seven under SC / SC (prevention of cruelty) acting and other parts.
It must be noted that since the BJP LED state government pushed anti-conversion bills skipped in assembly during recent winter sessions, several pastors had been attacked.
This is a new addition to a long list of more than 16 attacks.
Around 1 noon at Aternoon on December 29, while the family was led by Pastor Akshaykumar Karaganvi held a Bible prayer at his residence, about seven members of the right-wing organization fell to the house asking them to stop prayer.
The defendant was identified as Shivanand Shivalingappa, Ramesh Dandapur, Parasappa Babu, Fakirappa Bagewadi, Krishna Kantikar, Chetan Rajendra and Maniatesh Basalngappa accused five neighbors of conversions.
Soon they began to beat them.
The victims had suffered minor injuries for a sad injury, while a woman who suffered burns was being treated in a hospital in the district.
Pastor’s Spouse Kavita in his complaint submitted at the Ghataprabha police station said the defendant even splashed a steaming hot curry in Bharati Vyapari, in addition to the simplicity of Mahadevi Jogi.
Right wing members also attacked Kavita when she tried to calm them down.
Kavita said the prayer was annual affairs and family members once a year gathered at home to pray biblitab after Christmas.
Kavita also said there was no conversion that occurred at home as alleged by the defendant.
During the attack, one of the accused of taking the gold chain of family members identified as Sudhakar Bhimappa Vyapari.
The police said they had recorded the defendant under the IPC 326 section (causing a sad pain in a dangerous manner, 354 (anger simplicity of women) and 392 (robbery).
