Vadodara / Anand: Sustainable by traveling to it, Anand Agricultural University (AAU), for the second year in running, better in national rankings released by the Indian Agricultural Research Council (ICAR).
Jumping four places, AAU has been placed 20th in the 2020 national rank which was recently released by the ICAR education division.
In 2019, AAU funded by the state has improved its position by jumping 13 notches to be ranked between 25 universities in the 24th state.
AAU reached the best rank among Gujarat University.
ICAR is the peak body to coordinate, guide and manage research and education in agriculture including horticulture, fisheries and animal sciences.
“Our team ensures that we continue to increase when it comes to taking new technology to the threshold of farmers as part of our counseling activities or providing exposure to our better students and scientists.

National rating includes 67 agriculture, medicine, animal science, horticulture, fisheries and ocean study universities throughout the country.
For other universities in the ranking state coming as a mixed bag.
Navsari Agricultural University (NAU), for example, has surged to rank 31, up from the 42nd position that has pocketed in 2019.
But its performance is still gloomy compared to 2018, when it is ranked 14th.
The performance of the University of Agriculture Junagadh (JAU) and Sardar Krushinagar Dantitada Agricultural University (SKDAU) in Sardarketrushinagar crosses further.
Jau who has slipped to 30th in 2019 from 20 in 2018, currently ranks in the 40th position.
Likewise, SKDAU which slightly improving its performance from 46 in 2018 to 45 in 2019 has been ranked in the 60th position now.
